Michael’s Feat welcomes two new additions to its Board of Directors: Christine Colasuonno Christine, owner of RC Landscaping and Law Maintenance and a Senior Administrative Assistant for The MITRE Corporation, Eatontown, chaired the Michael’s Feat Annual Winetasting in 2010 and 2011.
The Michael’s Feat Board of Directors welcomed Tom Reiff. Tom is the former Chief of the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Division and recently retired after 28 years of service. He lives in Wall Township with his wife Patty and daughters, Rebecca and Kaitlyn.

Michael’s Feat’s annual spring gala raised over $90,000 – a new event record. The honorary co-chair of the 2011 Spring Gala was Scott MacFadden, President, Public Engineering Division of Birdsall Services Group, Eatontown. Mr. MacFadden’s premature, triplet grandchildren were previously helped by Michael’s Feat, sparking Mr. MacFadden’s loyal support of the charity.
Michael’s Feat dedicated a NICU Knowledge Unit at Monmouth Medical Center in honor of Leo Olsen, son of Michael’s Feat Board Member Cristina Olsen. Funds for the Knowledge Unit were donated in Leo’s name by family and friends of the Olsen Family. The NICU Knowledge Unit is a 24-hour information source for NICU patient families, containing hours of video, audio, and graphics that address important topics.

Dana Puharic was awarded the Governor’s Jefferson Award in the Founder/Innovator category for her tireless efforts founding and guiding Michael’s Feat. Advisory Board member Bill Faverzani nominated Dana. The award was presented to Dana by Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno, Linda Bowden, President, PNC Northern New Jersey, and Sam Berd, Co-Founder, Jefferson Awards.

Michael’s Feat holds its 11th Annual Summer Family Picnic. This year, Michael’s Feat presented the Heather Rose Tribute of Courage Award to Carrie and Kristopher Ganely, Bayville, whose triplets were born at just 23 weeks gestation. Angelica was born first, and Aiden and Audrianna were delivered by c-section two days later at Jersey Shore Medical Center, where they eventually spent 89 days in the NICU.
